Australia Through My Lens: First Week Abroad
Australia! I can say for certain I will visit again; this land is absolutely beautiful! I have found that the days are cool as long as you are in the shade, and the bugs aren't that bad. The wildlife that I have come across are mainly the birds of Australia. Magpies have been the easiest to photograph, they remind me so much of crows and ravens from back home in the U.S. They are smart and interesting. The biggest culture shock has been the driving, on the left side of the road. It was dizzying at first, but I am slowly getting used to it, thankfully I do not have to drive it personally. Visiting family that are born and raised here and or have lived here for over 20 years, helps with all the getting around and knowing where all the good spots are to go swimming and to eat!
